Arman makes his own task
After reading the initial brief, a baffled Arman looks at Pilvi and asks her about the task. Pilvi replies that there is normally a task that must be performed within the envelope. Still confused, Arman exclaims that the task brief he is holding clearly says that it is not the task.
The camera then cuts to Arman in the studio, who genuinely asks if all of the task envelopes really had been hanging on the walls when he had been present. Indeed, Arman truly does fail to see every other task brief in the room while at the house, and therefore decides that what he is meant to do is make up his own task. Decision made, Arman leaves the room and heads for the kitchen.
After wondering what he can do, he searches the refrigerator and pulls out a carton of eggs. He puts three eggs on a plate and sticks it in the microwave, announcing his intention to boil them. Unsurprisingly, the eggs eventually explode, one at a time, though Arman seems surprised every time it happens, swearing up a storm. The noise draws Pilvi downstairs, and a laughing Arman explains that he had been making “a Persian omelette”.
In the studio, Jaakko questions how Arman was unable to see any of the other task envelopes on the walls. Arman doesn’t offer an explanation. Instead, he says that he was thinking about how, if Miami Vice: Finland was ever made, and he and Eero were the detectives, nothing would ever be solved; they would approach a crime scene, Eero would insist that the body was not a body, and Arman wouldn’t even see the body at all.
Arman is also unable to explain why he chose to blow up the eggs in the microwave, after deciding to set his own task.
When Jaakko later points out that neither Eero nor Arman have yet to complete the task, Arman is the second to whistle, and therefore earns last place.
