Eero is apparently a good neighbour
Eero’s chosen topic is ‘Hallway notes, or the development of apartment building communications from the 1970s until today’ (‘Heippa-laput’, literally ‘goodbye-notes’, are passive-aggressive anonymous notes left on apartment building communal bulletin boards).
In his presentation, Eero admits that hallway notes have not developed much since their inception in the 1970s. He has distilled their contents into three generalised categories: noise; stomping around by upstairs neighbours; and animals.
Eero has not written much on his visual aid, simply writing down keywords to his lecture, as well as drawing a picture that could only vaguely be called an animal.
The only other part of Eero’s presentation that is shown is of his final words, where he entreats note writers to kindly write their names on their notes.
No comment is made on Eero’s presentation in the studio, and Jaakko awards him joint third place.
