Pamela keeps things simple (and divisive)

After reading the task brief, Pamela hesitates for a moment before picking up the duck and jogging with it in hand towards the paddling pool, making half-hearted flying noises as she does so.

When she reaches the pool, she simply places the duck on the surface of the water and declares the task complete.

While this short clip is being played, the other contestants in the studio can all be heard voicing their objections to her solution, insisting that the task brief had stated that the duck could not be touched. However, Pamela insists that the task brief had said only that the duck could not be thrown (in fact, Pilvi was the only person who was forbidden from touching the duck).

After her attempt has been shown, Jaakko confirms that Pamela’s interpretation was valid, and compliments her on her reading comprehension. Pamela’s fellow contestants express their shock, while Eero stands to shake her hand in congratulations (Pamela jokes that he may bow down to her, as well).

Pamela completes the task in just 29 seconds, and earns first place.
