Eero uses the crew

Eero looks at the distance between the launch point and the paddling pool, and wonders if there’s anything he could use to launch the duck between the two.

He searches the shed, initially pulling out a long tube and a length of guttering, but quickly abandoning them when he realises that they are nowhere near long enough to span the distance.

Returning to the shed to continue his search, he asks Pilvi why there aren’t any shotguns [note: despite the implication of this question, it is not typical to find a shotgun in every shed in Finland, like one might find a fish poster in every shed in New Zealand].

Lacking a suitable firearm, Eero instead tries standing on top of a step-ladder and hitting the duck towards the pool with a tennis racket. His shot actually comes very close, landing just next to its target.

After retrieving the duck, Eero looks at the nearby boom mic operator and asks for his assistance. After confirming that the boom mic operator will always follow Eero’s voice, Eero places the duck on top of the boom mic, and then starts skipping towards the pool while singing a nonsense song. When he reaches the pool, he lowers his head close enough to the water that the boom mic operator is forced to turn the mic to catch his voice, tipping the duck into the pool in the process.

Eero’s completion time is not revealed, but he earns last place.
