Eero unpacks some issues
Eero tests the musicality of the nearby typewriter’s keys and, deeming them “pretty okay”, takes it with him to the shed.
There does not seem to be much rhyme nor reason to Eer’s instrument construction process; rather, he seems to just find items in the shed that make distinctly different noises when struck – the typewriter, an old floppy disk storage container, a large glass bottle – relying on the spectacle of his costume (a helmet, ear protectors, flippers, a disco ball) and his performance to see him through.
As he gathers all of his items, he seems to apologise in advance to Pilvi, saying that his performance will be “insufferable”, but that it will definitely be emotionally rousing.
Eero relocates to a seating area near the water, and squeezes a large amount of sriracha sauce into his mouth. As he sings/yells the song through a mouth full of hot sauce, he steps on two service bells and bangs his other objects in a cacophony of noise. To finish his performance, he sits down on a whoopie cushion.
In the studio, when Jaakko questions Eero’s inclusion of sriracha sauce, Eero jokes that he needed to make himself feel emotions as well. When Jaakko asks if Eero has ever sought professional help, Eero replies that he was under the impression that Suurmestari was the place to “unpack these things”. Jaakko agrees that the show is a form of occupational therapy, and awards Eero second place.
