Anne almost cracks the code

Anne initially considers eating the meatball to get herself out of doing the task via hospitalisation. She then throws it into the van on her first attempt, and does a little dance in celebration.

Anne then fails several times with her attempts to kick the football, AFL ball, and exercise ball, and racket the tennis ball. She comes very close with the exercise ball, which almost enters the van but then bounces out.

Some timelapse footage is then shown of various additional attempts by Anne over the course of 11 or more laps, none of which are successful. Eventually, she does manage to kick the AFL ball into the van, before performing another celebratory dance.

Anne then starts considering whether there’s a trick to the task, after noticing the fact that the van keeps stopping, apparently at random. She initially tries asking the driver directly to stop, but when that doesn’t work she calls him an arsehole.

Anne then tries racketing the tennis ball a few times, while trying to identify the reason why the van sometimes stops. She guesses that it might be something to do with when she touches a ball, and tries to test this by ducking down to touch the exercise ball, thereby accidentally meeting the actual criteria for the van to stop (ducking).

Although she feels good about the fact that she thinks she’s cracked the code, she is still not feeling great about actually getting the balls in the van, and fails to successfully racket the exercise ball into it.

Anne tries throwing the exercise ball, even though she’s already successfully thrown the meatball in. She barely manages to racket the tennis ball in, and then bounces the football, but it deflects off of the door and doesn’t actually land inside the van.

As her time runs out, she knocks down some of the cones in frustration, having failed to get all of the balls into the van.

Anne fails to complete the task after 45 laps, and so earns just 1 point.
