Task notes
- The contestants are lined up side-by-side along the back of the stage.
- At the front-centre of the stage, there is a microphone on a stand.
- The signal from the microphone is being run through auto-tuning software, to distort the contestants’ voices.
- Tom Gleeson is seated with his back to the stage, so he can’t see what is happening.
- The contestants approach the microphone in whatever order they choose, and Tom Gleeson takes a guess at who each of them are, but doesn’t find out if he was right until the end of the round.
- The eliminated contests take a seat on a chaise longue at the right-hand side of the stage.
- When there are just two contestants remaining, it becomes a sudden-death contest, with the contestants playing a game of ‘rock, paper, scissors’ to determine who gets to decide who goes up to the mic first.
