Joonas’ incredibly relatable mime
For the first category of ‘celebrations’, Joonas is required to mime ‘a christening’. This is much easier than it may initially seem, as Finland is a majority Evangelical Lutheran country, and christenings are an incredibly commonplace thing. Jaakko very likely identifies Joonas’ mime as soon as he indicates that he is rocking a baby. However, instead of guessing, Jaakko allows Joonas to continue, sarcastically commenting that Joonas’ mime is difficult to guess, and that it appears to be related to cooking. As he does so, Joonas makes his mime more sophisticated, first by pretending to splash water on the baby’s forehead, then pretending to flip to a page in a hymnal and lead a congregation in song. Jaakko finally takes pity on Joonas, and guesses correctly.
For the second category of ‘days of the week’, Joonas is required to mime ‘Monday’. This round is very quick for Joonas: all he does is scrunch up his face in annoyance and look at his watch before mouthing the word “Vittu!” (‘Fuck!’). Before he can even finish the word, Jaakko immediately (and correctly) guesses that Joonas is miming “Monday”.
For the final category of ‘colours’, Joonas is required to mime the colour ‘yellow’. While putting on a cheery face, Joonas draws a large circle in the air above him with his fingers, before miming the rays of the sun shining down on the ground below him, as well as warming his skin. Jaakko guesses correctly.
As Jaakko was able to correctly guess all of Joonas’ mimes, he earns joint first place.
