Jenny investigates the caravan

Jenny does not initially spot all of the socks hanging from the balcony behind her, so she looks perplexed, and takes the long hook with her to investigate the caravan.

As Jenny stands outside the door of the caravan and uses the pole to investigate its contents, Tom Cashman asks her if the hook is helping. When Jenny explains that she’s been told she’s not allowed to enter ‘a house’, and that the caravan is technically a house, Tom tells her that she is permitted to enter, so she goes inside to search for a sock.

As Jenny emerges from the caravan with no socks found, she finally spots all of the socks hanging from the balcony, and realises her mistake. In the studio, she explains that, in her mind, a minivan was the same as a caravan.

Returning to the house, Jenny says that she can’t be bothered to remove all of the socks from the balcony. She instead spends some time looking at the pat-terns on the socks, and spots that one of them has three stripes around the ankle, instead of two. Jenny removes the sock from the balcony, but discovers that it does not contain a minivan.

Jenny and Tom then go for a walk across the lawn together. Jenny moans that she doesn’t like it when she can’t solve things and Tom, clearly limp-ing, claims he is also in a bit of pain. This causes Jenny to stop and asks Tom why he is in pain, and then notice that Tom is wearing one red sock. Jenny then starts to untie Tom’s shoe, shouting “You’ve double-knotted them, you nerd!” at him.

In the studio, Tom Gleeson queries why Jenny had called Tom Cashman a nerd for double-knotting his shoes. Josh chimes in to point out that, bearing in mind that Tom knew Jenny would need to get down on the ground and undo his shoes, tying them in a double knot was not nerdy, but “full creep mode”. Tom Cashman is quick to point out that the double-knot was not only used during Jenny’s attempt.

Jenny finds the minivan after 38 minutes and 45 seconds, but had only removed two socks from the balcony, so she earns 4 points.
