Eero the experienced magician

Eero isn’t particularly careful as he removes the cover from the platform, and sends the pea rolling across the table, losing it to the floor.

After burning through some of his time searching for – and locating – the pea, Eero then reshoots (and over-exaggerates) his discovery of the pea, to provide extra footage for the edit of his attempt.

Eero then begins to tuck his shirt into his trousers, claiming that the years of his childhood learning magic “were not wasted”. He adapts a magic trick which typically involves a coin to make it appear that the pea has disappeared into his skin. After picking up the pea and rubbing it against his forearm, he initially loses it to the floor (this is likely a deliberate move; in magic, this kind of ‘mistake’ is often used as a ‘prover’). He then picks the pea back up and starts rubbing it against his forearm again, this time successfully ‘vanishing’ the pea into the skin of his arm, before opening both hands to prove that he isn’t just holding onto it.

Jaakko isn’t particularly impressed with anyone’s attempt, but acknowledges that Eero’s magic trick at least had some astonishing elements in it, so he awards Eero first place (but only 3 points).
