Joonas considers an idiom

Joonas initially runs an idea by Pilvi: what if he were to stick the pea up his nose, and then cough it up through his mouth? In Finland, there is an idiom, ‘vetää herne nenään’ (‘pull a pea up one’s nose’, meaning to get annoyed/provoked) which Joonas is very much referencing with his idea. He asks Pilvi what level of first aid is available on the set, in case his attempt goes poorly, and Pilvi says that she’ll try to dig the pea out of his nose with a pair of tongs. Joonas, unable to resist the joke, tells Pilvi that as a feminist, she already always has a pea up her nose, which causes a rare on-camera break in composure from Pilvi.

In footage of his attempt that does not make the edit, Joonas ultimately abandons this initial idea, and instead decides to play a game of table tennis, using the pea as a ball. Near the shed, he places a large, flat wooden board onto the work table, and then enlists Pilvi as his opponent. Pilvi asks Joonas if playing table tennis is really the most astonishing thing he can think of doing with a pea, but his response is not shown. The game ends prematurely when the pea is lost in the grass.

Jaakko isn’t particularly impressed with anyone’s attempt, and awards Joonas joint last place.
