Everyone tosses their shoes

In the first round, the contestants must throw both of their shoes at the same time, one from each hand. While Abby gets ready to throw her shoes, Ben asks Hayley if he can smell her shoes. He then smells them and claims that they smell like mustard, stating that Hayley will now have mustard hands. After Tom tells them to let Abby focus, and Abby adds “This is very important”, Ben responds that he’s just talking to “mustard hands”. Abby finally throws her boots, and they land fairly close to one another in the middle of the platform. Ben then throws his shoes, and they also land quite close to one another, but nearer the edge of the platform. After Paul describes Hayley’s shoes as “classic black leather loafers with a buckle”, Ben adds “Classic mustard hand, right?”. One of Hayley’s shoes doesn’t reach the platform, while the other lands on the platform but then bounces off. However, her shoes still land fairly close to one another. When Madeleine throws her shoes, one lands near the middle of the platform, while the other lands near Hayley’s, off the edge of the platform. Madeleine describes her attempt as “terrible and too bouncy”. Tom then throws his shoes and they land quite far apart, but are both on the platform. Madeleine’s shoes are clearly the furthest apart, so she is eliminated, and Tofiga earns 1 point. Madeleine takes on the role of “shoe boy” for the rest of the game, retrieving the remaining contestants’ shoes for them between rounds.
In the second round, the contestants must throw both shoes simultaneously using their weakest hand. Ben throws first and both his shoes land upright, on the platform, and fairly close to one another. Hayley’s shoes land upright on the platform but clearly further apart than Ben’s. Tom awkwardly throws his and one lands on the platform, while one falls off. Abby’s shoes roll a fair way along the platform, and it is not obvious whether they are closer together than Tom’s. After Paul measures the distances, it is revealed that Abby’s were 84.5cm apart, while Tom’s were 91cm apart, so Tom is eliminated and earns 2 points.
In the third round, the contestants must throw their shoes simultaneously, backwards over their heads, without looking. Hayley throws first, but neither shoe makes the platform and they both fly in opposite directions. Hayley states “It couldn’t get worse!”, while Ben claims they are in different postcodes. One of Abby’s boots lands on the platform, while the other lands just off the edge. Paul says that Hayley needs Ben to “have a shocker” to prevent her from being eliminated, prompting Hayley to whisper “you suck” to Ben, in an attempt to throw him of his game. Ben’s shoes land fairly close to one another in the middle of the platform, so Hayley is eliminated and earns 3 points.
In the fourth and final round, the contestants must kick their shoes from their feet, one at a time. Abby’s first boot lands near the edge of the platform, and the second lands right on top of it. Ben’s first shoe lands on the floor, just off the edge of the platform, and his second shoe doesn’t even leave the stage. Ben is therefore eliminated and earns 4 points, while Abby wins the task and earns 5 points.
