Abby’s autism assessment

Abby brings in her autism assessment sheet, arguing that her best qualities are her autistic qualities. As examples, she shares that she knows heaps about the Titanic and Phantom of the Opera, she can’t lie, and she takes things literally.

When Hayley asks if the autism comes as part of the prize, Abby responds with “You wish!”.

Ben states that he wants the Titanic knowledge, and asks Abby about the fallacy that all the rich people survived. Abby confirms that a lot of the rich men on the ship did die, prompting Hayley to sarcastically lament this loss.

Abby shares that she often starts crying while thinking about being on the boat with all the gentlemen, which she realises does have implications, but Jeremy and Madeleine back her up that men were quite nice back then.

When Paul jokes that some weren’t nice, citing Billy Zane’s character from the movie Titanic, Abby points out that it’s a funny joke, but not historically accurate.

Abby earns 5 points.
