Tofiga bribes Paul with friendship

The first block Tofiga removes from the tower instructs him to bribe Paul to remove the next block, so he tells Paul that he will be his friend if he does this for him. When Paul asks what that actually means, Tofiga confesses that he’d never liked Paul, and had been pretending to like him to get his help with the tasks, but would become Paul’s friend for real if he removed the next block for him.

Tofiga is subsequently instructed to remove a green block, and then to barrel the camera while removing one.

As he is subsequently attempting to remove a block from a metre away, the tower topples.

In the studio, Paul confirms that Tofiga had removed six blocks before the tower fell. When Madeleine asks how many friends Paul had got, he confirms “one”.

Tofiga comes in fourth and earns 2 points.
