Hayley sexually harasses Paul and then blackmails Urzila Carlson

After Hayley enters the room and wishes Paul a happy New Year, she asks him how his year was. Paul tells her that it was really hard, and that he needs some money, but Hayley responds that she can’t help him.

After reading the task brief, Hayley informs Paul that she would like him to be a stripper on the table at her party. As New Year begins, Hayley is sitting at the desk, wearing a party hat and holding a glass. As Paul approaches her, she screams “Oh my god, the stripper’s here!”, and then shrieks “Take it off! Take it off!”, as Paul slowly removes his jacket. Paul and Hayley then swap places, and she throws money at him while he has a drink.

As Paul gets up and begins to move towards the sofa, Hayley asks “”here are you going, party boy?”, and he explains that he is going to get his whistle. Just as Paul blows his whistle, Hayley rushes over and kisses him on the cheek. When Paul asks if that was after the whistle, Hayley denies that it was.

In the studio, Jeremy observes that Hayley’s entire celebration was basically sexual harassment, and Ben questions whether it is traditional to have a stripper at a New Year’s celebration.

Responding to what Paul had told her at the beginning of the task, Hayley’s New Year’s resolution is to make Paul rich. Trying to think of a way to achieve this in 15 minutes, she decides to try to blackmail season 2 contestant Urzila Carlson. Hayley claims that Urzila has a bit of money, and that she possesses some damning pictures of her. When Paul asks what type of pictures she has, Hayley says they are of Urzila kissing women. When Paul then asks why Hayley has these pictures, she says “Don’t ask”.

Hayley sends Urzila a voice message, speaking into her phone through a conical party hat in an attempt to disguise her voice. She informs Urzila that she has pictures of her feet, in addition to pictures of her kissing women. When Hayley asks Paul how much money he would like, he says NZ$20. Hayley tells Urzila that she will release the pictures to the media unless she pays NZ$20, and that she has just 10 minutes and 16 seconds to comply.

Urzila responds with her own voice message, saying “Well, well, well. Looks like someone needs some vagina pictures too. You’ve only got feet. I’ve got so much more incoming.” Paul responds that it seems like Urzila wants to be blackmailed. Hayley then shows Paul a new picture Urzila has sent her, pointing out that it is clearly a picture of her mouth, rather than her genitals.

After Paul notes that Urzila is not really grasping the idea of the blackmail, Hayley leaves her another message, warning her that she has just six minutes left to transfer NZ$20, or she’ll burn Urzila’s house down. Urzila then calls back to say she’s doing it. With one minute remaining, Hayley says she’s getting a “dot dot dot” on her phone (indicating that Urzila is typing a message). Then, with just 25 seconds remaining, she receives the payment from Urzila, and then gives Paul a NZ$20 note, claiming that he’s now rich.

In the studio, when Jeremy asks Hayley why she has pictures of Urzila kissing women, she says that she would rather not say, before noting that they are very close.

Hayley earns 4 points.
