Sue spits into the bottle
Sue first looks inside the third bucket from the left, and finds the teaspoon within, announcing “I don’t think I’ll have that one. That could take me a long time.”
After waiting for a minute to pass, she looks inside the fifth bucket from the left and finds the plastic tubing inside, noting that it seems like quite a good option. When Alex notes her interest, she mimes sucking and blowing water through the tube, apparently remembering that the act of siphoning exists, but not being exactly sure how it works.
Sue does manage to initially set up the siphon correctly, placing one end in the bucket and sucking on the other until water starts flowing through, before placing that end in the bottle. However, the water then stops flowing, and she has to keep sucking on the tube, ending up with water in her mouth, which she then spits into the bottle.
In the studio, when Greg points out that it’s probably not permissible to spit the water into the bottle, Alex notes that “more liquid came out of Sue’s mouth than we expected”. He reveals Sue had gotten 478ml of water into her bottle which, after David and Hannah’s disqualifications, earns her 4 points.
