Pamela steers a new friend

Pamela leaves the playhouse and gets into one of the production team’s cars, voicing her hope that there is someone nearby whom she can befriend.
She leaves the mansion property and drives following her instincts (claiming at one point to feel “pulled” in a certain direction) before coming across a woman walking her dog.
Pamela parks the car and stops the woman, explaining that she needs to make a new friend, and wonders if she could use either the woman or her dog – or both – to fulfil her goal. The woman is clearly hesitant, and explains that her Finnish is not particularly good, as she is a Swedish speaker (Finland is officially bilingual). Pamela reassures the woman that there is no problem, and promptly switches over to Swedish to continue communicating.
Pamela, the woman (Viveca), and the dog (Nero) end up taking a photo together – with Pamela directing how the photo should look, including the two having an arm around one another. She also has Viveca write her a note of friendship as further proof, which reads:
It was nice to get to know you.
My love to Rocky the dog.
Scratches.
Best, your new friend Viveca.
Pamela brings her evidence back to Pilvi in the playhouse, proudly proclaiming that she has made not one, but two new friends, and also shows her the note that Viveca had written.
In the studio, Jaakko presses Pamela on Viveca’s note, asking if it had actually been Viveca’s idea, or if Pamela had told her what to write. Pamela admits that she had “steered” Viveca’s words, but insists that some of the note – namely “Scratches” – had been Viveca’s idea, and also claims that the two of them had actually set up a date to walk their dogs together in the future.
Jaakko acknowledges that Pamela “went through all the formal steps” to actually make a friend, and awards Pamela first place.
