Joonas channels different artists

Joonas chooses a distance of 20 centimetres.

As he starts to paint, he asks Pilvi to act as his muse, and sing something to him. Pilvi asks Joonas what he would like for her to sing, and he requests “something sentimental”, a request which Pilvi swiftly denies.

As he continues to paint, Joonas explains that he had intended to paint something akin to Gallen-Kallela realism, but that his end result will likely look more like a Picasso.

Near the end of his time, Joonas actually gets up from the creeper to fill his brush with more paint. Given that all of his art supplies have remained on the table, it appears that Joonas has interpreted the task brief to mean that he must only remain on his back while painting.

In the studio, Joonas explains that his painting portrays Jaakko’s strength and intellect.

Jaakko awards everyone 3 points.
