Ben makes pink fat

When Ben asks where the task envelope is, Paul claims that the tasks never come in envelopes.
After finding and reading the task brief, Ben keeps repeating “Make soap” out loud, before stating that soap is made from fat.
When Paul tells him he has just 15 seconds left to request his ingredients, Ben asks if he has to request them from Paul. Paul confirms that this is the case and then notes that he has just 10 seconds left. Ben states that he needs fat, and when prompted to specify a type of fat by Paul, asks for cow fat. With just 5 seconds left to request ingredients, he panics and asks for pink food colouring.
Ben thinks that his two ingredients are all he will need, stating that he will “churn it or something”, before admitting he’s not sure whether he’s actually thinking of the process for making butter.
Before Ben’s attempt is revealed, Hayley laughs that she is looking forward to seeing his “pink fat”. He responds to this by stating that she’d put food in her soap, noting that she might as well have put ketchup and mustard in there, before again calling her “old mustard hands”.
Ben puts his cow fat in a pan and states that he thinks you have to get it to a certain temperature, then reduce it for ages before adding colour to it. After a while, he claims that it smells like a fish and chip shop.
Ben pours his melted fat mixture into a small dish, claiming that it is “unscented, hypoallergenic pink soap”, before placing the dish into the freezer to set.
With six and a half minutes left, he makes small talk with Paul.
Ben then checks his mixture and says that nothing has happened, noting to Paul that he doesn’t think it is actually soap –just cold, pink fat.
When Paul tries Ben’s “cold, pink fat” it unsurprisingly just results in his hands being covered in fat. However, due to two other contestants being disqualified for using soap in their soap, Ben still earns 3 points.
