Bubbah, Tom, and Abby attempt to have cohesive conversations

In the first round, Bubbah, representing Tofiga in the studio, picks topic 1, reasoning that they are going to come first. Topic 1 turns out to be ‘Your death row meal’. Tom begins the conversation by posing the question to Bubbah and Abby about what they would choose. Bubbah answers “Probably pork – pork ribs.” Abby and Tom both nod in approval as Bubbah goes onto elaborate by saying that she’d have barbecue sauce with the ribs. Tom then starts to say “I love barbecue sauce” at the same time that Bubbah is throwing the question back to him and Abby. Abby then joins in the conversation by saying that she loves a barbecue. When Bubbah asks “A barbecue?”, Tom says “Sure, for my death row meal, I will also have a barbecue”. Abby states that this is “crazy”, before asking her team-mates what they would be in prison for. Bubbah says “Ooh fun! Ram-raids?”, before Paul signals that their time is up. Jeremy decides that the team of three had a more cohesive conversation, so they win round one.
In the second round, Abby chooses topic 2, which is ‘The economy’. Tom begins by posing the question “How’s that economy, you guys?”, and Abby responds that she’s heard that it’s in the toilet. Bubbah nods in agreement, stating “It’s pretty BLEEPed up”. When Tom asks Bubbah how her savings are, she says she’s doing okay. Tom then asks her what bank she is with, but Bubbah doesn’t know what he is asking, and so says “Might start stripping”, just as their time is up. Jeremy rules that the team of two had a more coherent conversation.
In the third round, Abby chooses topic 3, which is the only option left, and turns out to be ‘Love’. Tom starts by asking if they like romantic comedies. Abby picks up on the question immediately, stating that she loves them, and particularly loves the film Notting Hill. Tom then repeats the question to Bubbah, and she says that she also loves them. Abby then switches the conversation up several gears by asking her team-mates if they are in love at the moment. Neither of them answer her, either because they don’t understand what she’s said, or are reluctant to continue that line of conversation. Instead, Tom asks if they think Love Actually is a Christmas movie. Abby responds that she doesn’t like the film, as “everyone is problematic”. Bubbah, eyes wide open, begins to say something, but Abby then jumps in, saying “I love you guys!”. Tom repeats the sentiment, and then Bubbah suggests a group hug just as their time ends. Jeremy claims the team of three’s conversation was one of the worst he has ever witnessed, so the team of two wins the third round.
Having won just one of the three round, the team of three lose the task but earn 4 points each.
