Task brief

The brief for the task is as follows:

Pick a subject from Paul's board, then have a cohesive conversation about it.

Each conversation must last 30 seconds, and all participating teammates must speak at least twice.

You must be wearing your noise-cancelling headphones whilst conversing.

There will be three rounds.

Most cohesive conversationalists wins.

Task notes

The contestants are lined up side-by-side on stage in their teams.
At the left-hand side of the stage, there is a board with six removable sections, concealing the six subjects that the teams must have conversations about.
The topics of conversation are as follows: 1) Your death row meal; 2) The economy; 3) Love; 4) A recent holiday you took; 5) The 1989 film ‘Honey I Shrunk The Kids; and 6) The game on the weekend.
Each of the contestants is supplied with a set of noise-cancelling headphones which are presumably also playing audio to further prevent them hearing one another. Each set of headphones has half of a plastic toy animal stuck to it.
To the right of the stage, there is a bench where the team not actively having a conversation must sit.
Paul signals to each team when their conversation time is over by waving a red flag at them.
