Mastertask notes:

In this version of the task, the contestants are first instructed to create and star in a 30-second, high-stakes, silent film, and are then separately instructed to supply the soundtrack to their own film.

Task briefs

The initial task brief is presented within a silent movie featuring Paul, which the contestants watch in the study. The second task brief is attached to a microphone in the study. The briefs for the task are as follows:

Star in a 30-second silent film.

Most high-stakes film wins.

Create the audio for your silent film.

All sound must be recorded in this room.

Task notes

For the first part of the task, Paul is seated at the desk in the study, eating popcorn, and watching a silent movie which is being projected onto a screen.
For the second part of the task, Paul is seated in the same position but is wearing headphones. The projector has again been set up on the desk so that the contestants can watch their films while they provide the audio.
