Task notes
- David’s mostly black and white film starts with a close-up of a door opening, and David’s feet taking a few steps inside. A faucet drips into a sink. A woman brushes her hair. The camera pans over to a mirror to reveal that the woman is actually David in a wig, wearing large-lens glasses. He sneezes. David plays a few notes on an electronic keyboard. David screams a few words and blows an airhorn. The film cuts to David smiling in the dining room, while tap-dancing. The camera pans to David hiding in a nearby closet, holding a bicycle horn, which he squeezes. In the dining room, David has a conversation with a taxidermy bird. The film cuts to David standing on the balcony, squeezing a large rubber duck and looking into the distance. Toast pops up from a toaster. David starts his stopwatch and lets it run for five seconds. On the porch, David sits on a bench with his mouth open and opens a rainbow umbrella; as he does so, the black and white film becomes colourful.
