Task brief

The brief for the task is as follows:

Write the same word as someone else.

David will randomise a category.

You have 10 seconds to write a word from the category.

Your goal is to write the same word as someone else.

If you succeed, you move on.

If no-one else has written the same word, you’re out.

If you sneak peeks, talk, or otherwise communicate with the others, you’re disqualified.

Your time starts on David’s signal.

Task notes

This task takes place during the ‘Middle of the Show’ segment, as a game titled ‘Skriv Samma Ord’ (‘Write the Same Word’).
The contestants remain seated, but are separated with some temporary partititions, and are each supplied with a small whiteboard and dry erase marker pen, with which they must write down their chosen words.
David has a wheel of fortune with categories written on it, which he spins to select the category for each round. The categories present on the wheel are: ‘vinter sport’ (winter sport), ‘pälsdjur’ (furry animal), ‘instrument’ (musical instrument), ‘rotfrukt’ (root vegetable), ‘kroppsdel’ (body part), ‘pizzor’ (pizza), ‘namn på S’ (name beginning with ‘S’), ‘färg’ (colour), ‘land’ (country), ‘artist’ (performer), ‘högtid’ (holiday), and ‘ost’ (cheese).
Babben joins the game once two competitors are left, so that each of them has a chance to write the same word as someone else and actually win, rather than the game ending in a tie.
