Task brief
The brief for the task is as follows:
Write five things on the board that fit the category the Taskmaster says.
You have 30 seconds, and you must remain silent.
Your team will get 1 point for every matching word on your boards.
If the other team wrote the same word as you, the word will not give any points.
The team with the most points after three rounds wins.
Task notes
- The contestants are grouped into their teams on stage, with two members from each team standing either side of partition screens, facing one another.
- One each side of both partitions, there are whiteboards mounted on hinges, so that they may be swung round to face the audience.
- After the task brief is read, Lasse clarifies that is a winner-takes-all task.
- The category in the first round is ‘Four-legged things bigger than a mole’.
- The category in the second round is ‘Purple things’.
- The category in the third round is ‘Things that are pleasant to put in your mouth’.
