In this version of the task, the contestants must have a pleasant conversation in Finnish. They are not expressly forbidden from taking the dictionary with them to the room with their conversation partner.

The task brief is laid on top of a Finnish-Danish dictionary, on the desk in the study. The brief for the task is as follows:
Have a pleasant conversation with the person in the lab.
The person only speaks Finnish.
You have 10 minutes to prepare.
Most pleasant conversation wins.

Task notes
- Also on the desk, there is a small Finnish flag.
- In the lab, there sits a Finnish man named Kustaa.
- ‘Aika alkaa nyt’ is Finnish for ‘Time starts now’, and should therefore be familiar to any fans of the Finnish version of Taskmaster, Suurmestari.
- All Finnish transcriptions/translations in the write-ups of the contestants’ attempts are courtesy of yellowrainboot, the translator for the fan-made English subtitles for season 5 of Suurmestari.
