In this version of the task, the mains power cord is attached to one of the wooden beams in the ceiling of the lab, rather than being hidden on the floor.

Task brief

The task brief is laid on the table in the lab. The brief for the task is as follows:

Turn on the bubble machine.

You must remain on the spot. It may not be moved.

Task notes

Also on the table, there are a bubble machine, a measuring tape, two set of marker pens, a reel of red cotton thread, and a battery-operated torch.
Near to the table, there is a large fake cactus in a pot.
Across the lab, thete is a bathrobe hanging from the wall.
There is a battery-operated power supply for the bubble machine in one of the pockets of the bathrobe, but it lacks all four batteries needed to make it work.
Attached to the underside of the table, there is a remote control for a remote control car, which is parked near the camera crew. Text on the bumper of the car reads ‘Kig Op’ (Look Up).
Attached to one of the wooden beams in the ceiling, directly above the table, there is a mains power cord for the bubble machine which, if found, eliminates the need to hunt for batteries.
