Task notes
- All the contestants are lined up side-by-side on stage, standing on circular red ‘TM’ markers.
- Everyone is dressed in graduation robes and mortarboard hats, and is holding two litter-pickers.
- On the stage in front of them, there is an angled box with recesses which hold a large number of balls.
- Immediately after reading the task brief, Sue asks Alex if they are allowed to cooperate. Alex is silent for a moment before reluctantly replying, “I guess we’ll find out”.
- This task has similarities with a couple of previous live tasks, such as ‘Make the most exotic fruit hat’ and ‘ Get the most balls of the same colour in your bucket using litter pickers’, but has been categorised here as essentially original.
