The brief for the task is as follows:
Throw the most eggs into the cone.
You must throw one egg at a time.
The throwers must remain behind their tables.
The receivers must remain on their red circle.
The receivers may not catch the eggs with their hands.
Most eggs in the cone wins.
Task notes
- The contestants are lined up side-by-side on stage in their teams.
- One member of each team is dressed in a protective white jacket, and is wearing a traffic cone hat with a very wide opening at the top, and an attached plastic face shield.
- The stage has been covered with plastic sheeting to protect the carpet.
- At either side of the plastic sheeting, at the front of the stage, there are two tables, each of which has a large glass bowl containing half a dozen eggs.
- Once the task brief has been read, the contestants wearing the cone hats take their positions on marker spots in the middle of the plastic sheeting, while their team-mates move to the front of their tables.
