Tom’s emotive hat anecdote

Tom’s secret mission is to tell an anecdote that makes the audience go ‘Aww’.

During the prize task on episode 8, Tom had told an anecdote about having a big head and losing the only hat he’d ever found that would fit. Although the audience had initially laughed, they had eventually gone “Aww” when he seemed genuinely upset.

Tom says he thinks he’d added to many details into his lie, but Jeremy says the amazing thing is that he had seen tears start to well up.

Tom earns 5 points for his emotive anecdote.
