Everybody attempts to multitask while remaining photogenic

When Abby states at the beginning of the task that her worst fear is the camera catching her throwing up, Paul asks her if she is allergic to spaghetti. Abby quickly responds with “No, I’m allergic to your bullshit”, referencing Paul’s own comments to Hayley during episode 4.

After they all start the task, Tom drops his fork. Abby seems to focus mostly on appearing photogenic throughout the task, pulling off some very glamorous poses while flirting with the camera.

Paul asks them “What is the name of the river that flows through Rome?”, and Ben correctly answers “Tiber”. He then asks them “How many times have Italy won the FIFA World Cup?”, and Chris surprises himself by correctly answering “Four”.

Chris’s balloon subsequently hits the ground, while Hayley is seen bouncing her own balloon on the plate of spaghetti.

Paul asks the contestants “What is the primary ingredient in risotto?”. Many of the contestants shout out “Rice”, but Abby shouts out “Cottage cheese”. Hayley gets the correct answer with “Arborio rice”.

Chris loses control of his balloon again, and while it doesn’t touch the floor, it does float to the front of the stage.

When Paul asks “What animal native to China shares a name with an Italian car?”, many of the contestants shout out the answer “Panda” before he completes the question. Tom claims to have been the first to answer the question correctly.

When Paul asks “How many ‘L’s are in the word ‘colosseum’?”, the contestants shout out various numbers, with Abby guessing “Four”, and Ben guessing “Two”, before Tom gets the correct answer.

Hayley is on her knees as Paul asks them all “What is the Italian word for ‘spaghetti’?”. Everyone shouts out the correct answer (‘spaghetti’), but Paul decides that Tom had answered the quickest.

Paul starts to ask “What country does James Bond have a boat chase in…”, and Hayley shouts out “Milan” before he finishes “…in From Russia With Love?”. Hayley then guesses “Russia”, while Abby guesses “Copenhagen”, and Chris guesses “Wellington”. Tom gets the right answer with “Italy”.

As Paul asks “What are the three ingredients in margherita pizza?”, Hayley is eating spaghetti straight from the plate, while holding the balloon and staring at her camera. The contestants shout out various answers, with Abby guessing “Potato”. When Paul asks Jeremy who he thinks got the question right, he says Hayley did.

After the task is over, Hayley thanks them for “shouting dinner”. When Paul asks if it was warm enough, Chris says “Just how I like it, 10 degrees”. Paul then suggests that Chris must have liked it, as he’d eaten the most of all of them, earning himself 1 bonus point. However, Chris was also the only one whose balloon had touched the floor, which loses him a point. Tom earns the 2 bonus points for correctly answering the most questions.

Tom’s photo features him with his mouth wide open, while Chris is not in his photo, since it was taken while he was fetching his balloon from the front of the stage.

Hayley’s photo is taken before she’d knelt down, and includes what Chris describes as “worst photo of me to ever exist”. When Paul assures Chris that he is not being judged on Hayley’s photo, but his own, Chris responds “Well, I am!”. Hayley is fairly happy with her photo, stating that “It’s giving waist. It’s giving boobs. It’s great.” However, Jeremy then points out a bit of spaghetti which is dripping into her cleavage.

Ben’s picture is taken while he’s looking straight at the camera, while Abby’s photo features her looking straight at the camera, with the balloon just above her hand, and her leg raised.

Chris earns 1 point, Hayley earns 2 points, Tom earns 3 points (plus 2 bonus points for answering the most questions), Ben earns 4 points, and Abby earns 5 points.
