Josh fails to boil his eggs
Josh immediately strikes upon the idea of boiling his eggs in order to make them more hardy.
Unfortunately, he thinks that three minutes is sufficient time to hard boil an egg, so ends up very much undercooking them, as he discovers quickly on his return to the golf course.
Back in the studio, he defends his decision to boil the eggs. Stating (accurately) that “there’s no rule against it in golf”.
Alex points out that he’d actually only boiled the eggs for 2 and a half minutes.
Alex reports that Josh took 42 shots in 21 minutes, using 7 eggs, leading to a total score of “about 6,000 points” (6,174, if the reported time taken was accurate).
Josh ultimately places fourth in the task.
