Ève and Matthieu perform a song aimed at Stephanie's partner

Ève asks Stephanie where she is from (Rawdon, c60km north of Montreal).

Matthieu asks her whether she is married (she is not, but has been in a relationship for 16 years).

Ève identifies that Stephanie is waiting for her partner (Fred) to propose to her.

Matthieu decides that they should write a love song, so Ève asks where the couple met (in Montreal).

Matthieu then asks if there is anything that she doesn't like, and suggests feet, to which she responds that she does not like having her feet touched.

Ève asks if there is an emotion she has difficulty controlling, to which Stephanie responds that she has "a lot of love to give".

The team name themselves 'The Mare and Her Pony', and Ève initially does most of the singing, with the lyrics being...

Let me tell you a story that'll make you bawl
A Rawdoner in the big city
A beguiled man in Montreal
For each other, they fell
Had three children, as well
She was happy, but deep down
She was longing for a ring

At this point, Matthieu joins in for the chorus of...

For 16 years, she's been waiting
That's a damned long time to just be dating
What are you afraid of, Frederic, honey
That she'll leave with all your money?
It's none of my business, but Jesus
She's been waiting far too long
Today, I'm telling you, my friend
I've found you a new husband

At this point, Matthieu breaks into a rap with the lyrics...

Stephanie, the wait is over
I'm your man for all eternity
No point remaining in a boring twosome
How about an intriguing new co-mingling?
Absorbed, obsessed, with my verve
Equipped for downhill skiing
From Saint-Bruno to Montambault
From water sports, to limbo
I'll hoist you to seventh heaven
Without quarrel, she is beautiful
Without touching your feet
I'll take you on a voyage
No need for a passport
You have full access to my body
Four months out of the year
That's better than the Pyrenees
Creator of skiing
Creator of well-being

The pair then reprise the chorus with...

For 16 years, she's been waiting
That's too damned long time to just be dating
What are you afraid of, Frederic, honey
That she'll leave with all your money?
It's none of my business, but Jesus
She's been waiting far too long
Today, I'm telling you, my friend
We have found your new husband

Based on the audience's overwhelmingly positive reaction to their song, Louis awards the team five points.
