Christine completes the task with slips of paper
Christine brings a member of the production crew into the lab, and stands her on the scale (along with some wooden blocks she has added), but the total weight is way over what she needs.
Having added a brick, a bag, a large plastic bottle of some kind of liquid, and several tubs of sweets to the scale, she then attempts to make up the rest of the weight by applying pressure with her foot, but is unable to keep it steady enough.
She then fetches a plastic crate, and starts filling it with bottles of dish soap, and a couple more wooden blocks, reaching 31.690kg.
Adding the task brief brings it up to 31.7kg.
She then starts dropping individual pieces of paper (possible prize draw tickets with numbers on?) onto the pile, and is able to find the target weight of 31.770kg.
However, she does her own count to five before declaring victory and dropping the rest of the paper on the scale, so there is a question, in the studio, over whether she actually achieved the target weight for long enough.
The issue is eventually dropped, though, and only the contestants' times are taken into account when scoring.
Antoine reveals that Christine took 4 minutes and 37 seconds to complete the task, securing third place.
