Mehdi sends the egg on a balloon voyage

After confirming that he may only use items from the table, Mehdi runs off to fetch some balloons, a helium tank, some ribbon, and another pair of scissors, and puts those on the table, too.

He inflates and ties lengths of ribbon to 10 balloons, draws a face on the egg, and names it 'Christoeuf Colomb' (an egg-pun on 'Christopher Columbus'), before securing it in a sling made from a balloon and ribbon, and suspending that from the balloons.

Once outside, he realises that 10 balloons are not going to be enough to lift the egg up into the air, so he has to quickly run back inside, with just a couple of minutes left, and add more.

With just seconds remaining, he returns and successfully launches his egg balloonist into the air.

In the studio, Mehdi shares that they lost track of 'Christoeuf Coulant' (thus coining the title of the episode), but claims that he later found him at a shopping mall in Laval (a suburb of Montreal).

Pulling an egg with a face drawn on it out of his pocket, he goes to stand up, and comically trips over, dropping and smashing the egg on the stage.

Louis initially states that Mehdi's attempt was not within the 'spirit' of the task, since the items he used were not originally on the table, so it cannot be accepted.

However, he then awards Mehdi three points for his creativity, and two points for his on-stage skit.

He therefore wins the task anyway.
