Danielle utilises a variety of fishing equipment
Danielle goes straight for the inflatable dinghy, slowly paddles it out to the floating pallet, and throws the ball into the pond.
She instantly spots that the ball is floating, and retrieves it from the surface of the water in her dinghy.
She has some trouble getting back to the bank of the pond, but manages to do so, and disembark (with Tom Cashman's assistance).
She locates a crab pot, and puts the ball inside it, adding additional weight in the form of a toolbox, to help it sink. She throws the crab pot into the pond from the dock, but the bowling balls instantly pops back up to the surface, having apparently escaped its cage.
Returning to her dinghy to retrieve the ball again, she decides to try to tie the pallet's anchor chain around it, to weigh it down. She eventually gives up on this pretty impossible challenge, and instead returns to the bank, and finds a fishing net she can put the ball in.
She fastens and weighs the net down with the anchor and chain, and flings the collection back into the pond from the dock. Although it doesn't sink all the way to the bottom of the pond, it does remain submerged under the surface of the water.
In the studio, Tom Cashman reveals that Danielle spent 40 minutes and 23 seconds trying to sink the ball. She therefore earns fourth place.
