Luke composes a song about male pattern baldness
Luke leaves the lab and returns with a bundle of wooden skewers, which he attempts to break with his hands to create his 'snap'. However, breaking all of them together proves difficult and, when he finally manages it, the resulting sound is something of a damp squib.
For his 'crackle', he grabs the end of the boom mic, and plunges it directly into the bowl of crisped rice cereal, which ends up sounding more like a crispy 'thud'.
For his 'pop' he chooses to perform a pop song. He sings and plays guitar while Tom Cashman plays the keyboard. His song is about his fear that he will go bald like Tom Gleeson, and has the following lyrics:
Tom Gleeson was a redhead
But then he lost all his hair
But I've still got mine
I'm just worried that's my future
So I'm using a lot of products
To try and avoid that happening.
Tom Gleeson awards Luke last place.
