Karin is distracted by mischievous smiles

Here's a description of the contestant's attempt. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to illustrate it.

Karin is not sure why her attempt at the task has been separated from the others, since she has no memory of what happened. It is revealed that she was set the additional challenge of giving the camera a mischievous smile, every 15 seconds, which clearly interferes with her efforts to identify the correct sock. During her attempt, she does initially make the smart decision to remove the clothes pegs from the socks she has eliminated, allowing them to drop to the ground. However, she appears to stop doing this after a while, and can't remember which of the remaining socks she has checked. She appears to use all of her allowed squeezes, hits and sniffs, and eventually picks a sock. Unfortunately, upon touching the chosen sock, she quickly realises that it actually contains a pear, rather than a clementine. This puts her in the position of receiving zero points. However, in recognition of the increased level of difficulty she faced, Bård gives her the opportunity to switch places with one of the other contestants and take their points. She initially chooses Leo, since he earned 5 points on the task, but then switches to Vidar after being criticised by Lars for not thinking strategically (Vidar had been leading the season up until this point). She therefore earns second place in the task instead.
