Jimmy can really sing

The first present Jimmy opens up is the one containing the bowl of soup. The second one he opens is the one containing sand. The third one he opens is the one containing jelly. He opens the one with the combination lock fourth.

It appears that he opens the present containing the jigsaw last, but never attempts to solve the puzzle, and so does not find the magnet.

His process is not shown, but he does determine that the word needed for the combination lock is 'SANTA', and finds the hay inside.

He turns his attention to the box containing jelly, wondering if the object he can see within might be the golden present, and extracts the bag containing the phone.

He realises that he needs to find something to poke into the side of the phone, in order to insert the SIM card, and so starts digging around in the box containing the hay, eventually locating the needle.

Having inserted the SIM card and turned on the phone, he calls the number he's instructed to, listens to the message, and then gives Tom Cashman three examples of how he has been good this year, which include the fact that he has celebrated all of his children's birthdays (something that Tom characterises as "a bit bare minimum").

Tom then hands over the golden present from under his hat, and Jimmy sings a rendition of Silent Night before unwrapping it to find the blue stress ball within.

In the studio, Tom Cashman reveals that Jimmy took 23 minutes and 53 seconds to complete the task, earning second place.
