Maria cuts a larger triangle
Maria goes down the power tool route immediately, pulling out a jigsaw from the garage (although she gets frightened by a spider as she goes to plug it in).
Despite having never used a jigsaw before, she quickly cuts two lines outwards, from the edges of the triangular hole, then stomps the wood between them out of the way, to create a much larger hole.
She then easily fits the triangular block through the new, larger hole, before celebrating with a high kick.
She completes the task in just 3 minutes and 20 seconds, earning second place.
