Marie-Lyne refuses to give up
Marie-Lyne gets a bottle of pepper from the kitchen and returns to the study.
She pours some pepper into her hand and starts sniffing from it. This actually causes her to start coughing instead of sneezing. She also tries sniffing from the entire bottle instead, to no avail.
Marie-Lyne does have a few false alarms, but instead of being relieved by a sneeze, points out that her nose is just painful.
Finally switching tactics from the pepper, Marie-Lyne uses some of her own hair to tickle one of her nostrils. She also tries creating a cool breeze with a desk fan, but is unsuccessful.
Before leaving the scene of the task, Marie-Lyne offers to call Antoine if she sneezes within the next few days.
In the studio, Antoine reveals that Marie-Lyne really did send in a video message of herself sneezing – 36 days, 8 hours, and 22 minutes after her time started.
Marie-Lyne earns second place.
