Marte’s manageable list
Marte aims for quantity over quality, with her list of 35 wishes more closely resembling a shopping list, including such things as: money, dog, cat, dress, pen, ball, bread, bread toppings, soda, pool, sunbed, a new bed, duck, holiday, house, car, trampoline, and worm.
Despite the sheer number of things on her list, upon receiving the second task brief, Marte is excited that it is “manageable”. She darts around the house in search of objects to fulfil her list, crossing things off as she does.
Marte chooses pesto and eggs as her ‘bread toppings’, and an energy drink as her soda (which she justifies as being soda as it is carbonated).
For her ‘new bed’, Marte drags in a couch from the living room.
Marte fulfils larger ticket items like a ‘new car’ by utilising toy versions of them.
In the studio, Marte admits that she had just looked around the room for things to write down on her list, which had made things somewhat easier.
Marte fulfils 25 of her 35 wishes, and wins the task.
