Tuva has opinions about applied art
Unlike the other contestants, Tuva uses the full rolls of duct tape as her building material, rather than removing strips from them and building with that.
She places several rolls of tape on the ground in a pyramid shape, and then tapes two sets of four rolls of the tape together, using them to create armrests for what turns out to be a chair.
As she builds, she talks to Olli about art, commenting about how no-one ever really understands what art is.
Tuva then tests the functionality of her chair by sitting on it. She claims that the chair isn’t actually all that uncomfortable (though she seems to be holding herself upright by hooking her feet under the nearby coffee table), but also says that it ultimately shouldn’t matter, as “applied art is crap”.
Tuva admits in the studio that she did not actually know what ‘applied art’ meant, when she filmed the task.
Atle is disappointed with everyone’s attempts, and awards Tuva joint fourth place.
