Julian is not a natural thrower

Julian picks up the balloon and, upon discovering that it is filled with water, asks Alex if it would “excite a heterosexual” (presumably suggesting that it resembles a breast).

Apparently in no hurry, Julian leaves the hutch and stands in the garden, asking Alex his opinion on whether the balloon should be thrown underhand or overhand.

After a few practice swings, Julian throws the balloon underhand across the garden, but releases too early, fumbling his throw, resulting in the balloon landing near the external door to the living room, where it bursts.

Julian tells Alex that he had hoped to at least throw it so it landed near to the geodesic dome.

In the studio, Greg says that his gut instinct was that Julian was not a natural thrower. Julian replies that it was cold when the task was filmed, and that he’d just wanted to get it over with.

Julian bursts the balloon from 292 aspirins’ distance, and earns third place.
