Mona’s divisive loophole

After reading the task brief, Mona immediately wonders if she can work around it with lateral thinking.

She informs Antoine that she intends to erase the word ‘eraser’ from the task brief, and begins trying to do so with the eraser itself.

She then asks Antoine for some sandpaper, which he is able to find in the cabin and provide for her.

Using the sandpaper, Mona quickly removes the word ‘eraser’ from the task brief (the first line of which now reads ‘completely erase this’), and tells Antoine to stop the clock.

Mona’s solution is cheered by the audience and Tammy, but the other contestants are not pleased.

Louis, despite having accepted Mona’s creative interpretations in the past, decides that this particular task is all about physical effort, and so he disqualifies her.
