Sam’s outdated technology
Continuing a worrying trend of submitting documents that will enable the theft of his identity – having previously brought in his birth certificate – Sam brings in a copy of his National Insurance number.
He explains that when he had registered to obtain this number, he was given the option to receive it in a printed letter, an email, or on an audio cassette (an option for visually-impaired people), and had opted for the latter, which he submits as his prize submission.
Alex actually plays the recording from the cassette in the studio, though parts of it are bleeped out.
Greg awards Sam second place.
