Lucy’s mouse droppings

Lucy brings in what she claims to be mouse droppings.

She then tells a rambling story to justify her prize submission, which tangentially relates to mice.

She explains that when her mother was a child, her neighbours had a pet monkey, and that monkey had bit her mother’s nose. The trauma from the attack meant that Lucy was not allowed to have pets growing up.

Eventually, Lucy’s mother allowed her to have a pet hamster, which escaped its cage one evening, and Lucy’s mother accidentally killed it.

This chain of events had somehow has led to Lucy’s mother now having mice in her pantry, the droppings of which – literally “bits of old crap” presumably – Lucy has brought in as her prize.

Greg awards Lucy last place.
