Episode synopsis

In this episode, the contestants must bring in the bit of old crap that the Taskmaster likes the best, complete a ride-on sweeper rally, make the best gift for the Taskmaster, feed cards to a clown bin, and pass an exam about Alex’s parade.

Title context

During the ‘Make a gift for the Taskmaster’ task, Sam – inspired by the sight of Greg in the coat Susan Wokoma had made for him – describes Greg as looking like “Fagin at a disco”. Fagin is the leader of the child thieves in the novel Oliver Twist, and is often portrayed in a long, ratty coat.

    Taskmaster Intro

Hello. Welcome to the show. I'm Greg Davies. If Taskmaster is the new Colosseum, then our contestants are lion fodder. If Taskmaster is the Olympics, then these five need to beef up on 'roids big-time. If Taskmaster is the new religion, then I'm the mother-flipping pope, and I don't smoke dope, and I've never owned a soap on a rope. Wow! Writing introductions is increasingly tough. So, let's crack on and meet our colossal contenders

    Assistant Intro

And next to me, the answer to the question, ‘Which well-known presenter does little plops in the toilet like the ones you’d expect to see from a sheep?’ It’s Little Alex Horne!

    Taskmaster's Sign-off
