Sam’s gentleman’s basket
When Sam received his task brief at the house, he had been given his budget for supplies in the form of coins, rather than a bank note, and had spent quite a lot of his thinking time picking them up off the floor, as they spilled out of the envelope.
Sam prepares for Greg what he calls a “gentleman’s basket”, which is filled with Ferrero Rocher chocolates, a twisty straw, and Sam’s actual credit card. Next to the basket, there is a replica of Michaelangelo’s David.
When Greg seems confused by the term “gentleman’s basket”, Sam counters that Greg should know what it is, since he’s become so stylish (in Susan’s fur coat and Julian’s latex shorts) that he’s started “dressing like Fagin at a disco” (thus coining the episode title).
Greg calls Sam’s gift “insane”, and awards it fourth place.
