Sue goes with ‘Plan C’

Sue’s ‘Plan A’ – upon which she does not elaborate, but which involves “funnelly things” from the shed, like pipes – is quickly abandoned, as she realises that the items she has found are too short.

Sue then says that she will try ‘Plan B’, and just start throwing cards. After throwing four cards – and missing with all of them – Alex asks Sue what her ‘Plan C’ is.

Sue asks if she can bring the clown closer to her. Alex agrees that she can, as long as she does not cross the threshold of the stage.

Sue searches the shed, and emerges with a swing ball pole and an oar, which she attaches together to create a long pole. She then manages to hook the swing ball into the clown’s mouth and drag the bin to the edge of the stage.

Sue then feeds all of her remaining cards to the clown (“Take that, you hungry clown!”), before asking Alex if there are any more cards she could use.

Sue then runs into the house, in search of more cards. With just 30 seconds remaining, she then re-emerges from the house with another deck of cards, which she quickly throws into the clown’s mouth.

When Alex asks Sue how many extra cards she had just put into the bin, Sue replies “a classic 72”, for which she is thoroughly embarrassed in the studio.

Sue’s exact card total is not given, but she is ultimately disqualified after Alex plays additional footage revealing that Sue’s hand had crossed the threshold, while she was throwing the cards.
